MOBIB subscriptions: How does it work?”

How do you subscribe? It’s very simple.
Complete the registration form directly online on our website (www.villo.be) mentioning your MOBIB travel card. You will have to enter your bank details so that we can deduct the cost for use in cases where you exceed the first half-hour on any journey and also for the membership fee at the price of €31 for a year.

After registering you will receive an email within 5 minutes giving you your subscription number and link code. Armed with this information you can then go straight to a Villo! terminal to link your MOBIB card to your Villo! subscription!
From then on you can use your MOBIB card to use the Villo! service.

If we do not receive a letter of cancellation one month before the anniversary of your membership, this one will be tacitly renewed each year.
Otherwise there is no need to do anything. Your subscription will automatically be renewed for one year at the price of €31.

How does the short-term subscription work?

To take out a 1 Day or 7 Day subscription, go to any reception and subscription station equipped with a bank card reader terminal. Follow the on-screen instructions and insert your bank card into the reader. The 1 Day ticket will cost 1,60€ and the 7 Day ticket will cost 7,50€.

How do I know what amount I will be charged at the end of my 1 Day or 7 Day subscription?

If, at the end of your journey, you would like to know how long you used the service and how much you will be charged, log in at the terminal as soon as you have returned your bike and you will be issued with a receipt.
If you have an annual subscription, you can check the credit balance on your Villo! account at the terminal or on the website under the heading "My Account".

How does the deposit work?

A deposit is required whatever the duration of the subscription. If you want to use Villo! as a group or a family, each member will have to take out a subscription and provide a deposit (150€, debited only in the event of failure to comply with the general conditions of access and use).

Will the deposit be debited to my account?

The 150€ deposit is debited only in the event of failure to comply with the general conditions of access and use, particularly failure to return the bike within 24 hours.
For an annual subscription, you apply for a subscription directly online with a guarantee system by direct debit, or by returning a direct debit instruction form with your postal application.

How do I pay for the use of a bike over and above the free first half-hour?

- Long-term subscription
The cost of the service will be debited to your account if the amount exceeds 10€ and at least once a year irrespective of amount.

- Short-term subscription
The cost of the service is debited to your bank account on expiry of your 1 Day or 7 Day subscription.

Is the annual subscription renewed every year?

Unless cancelled (by post), the subscription is renewed automatically every year. You keep the same personal card from one year to the next.
When your bank card expires, you will receive an e-mail inviting you to provide the number of your new card and its new expiry date (if this has changed).

Is payment by bank card secure?

Payment via Internet is secure. No one connecting to the site after you will be able to log on to your Villo! account and access your confidential information.
